I'm kicking the new year off with a new blog series where I will share one new tip each week on a given topic chosen for that month. It will allow you to put into practice one thing at a time so that by the end of the month, you are confident in continuing what you've learned to GROW your business!
Yesterday, I was told I was BRAVE. It made me think a lot; yes, I would say I am. But I HAD to be because I was sick of the 16-hour days and mental exhaustion to grow my business and to see so many of my friends & family get started and NEVER succeed.
It was the revolving door of network marketing— a leader’s worst nightmare and something most people never discuss.
In 2018, I realized that social media had majorly shifted. The days where multiple people were reaching out to me in my DM’s & in private messenger were becoming fewer & farther between.
I began to get frustrated with hearing the same things over and over during trainings and decided I would look outside of what I was learning. I did a ton of research, hired a coach, and started making personal shifts that I was able to duplicate to my team.
It started with social media content, transitioned into adding connection strategies, and wrapped up nicely with a conversion system no one had ever seen!
That’s how my 3 C’s strategy was birthed. Listen, that strategy is not something I just decided one day I would “do.” I put in the work first, saw results, and then taught others how to do it and before I knew it, we all had our time & sanity back, and our businesses were growing whether we were “on” or not.
If you’re burning the candle at both ends and not seeing growth, why are you still doing the things that aren’t producing results?
The time is now to make a shift, and here’s how with tip #1:
Create valuable, real content & authentic connections that create trust and allow people to come into your world.
Long gone are the days you should be posting the same things daily. It’s time to tell stories, get real with people, and call it what it is. You, my friend, are in service AND sales if you’re building any sort of business where money is exchanged. Stop hiding behind spammy messaging and start using your own language, not someone else’s. Yes, copy & paste duplicates, but nothing duplicates better than truly being yourself and owning your story, sharing why you’re doing what you’re doing, and educating people on why they should choose you in the sea of online business owners. People don’t want copy & paste. They are deciding in 10 seconds if they even like you, much less would want to partner with you in any way. If they can’t even get into your world, how do you expect them to ever reach out to you?
