No. 7 - Blog Series: Staci's Story

Alright, I have to start out by saying that I’m sorry for leaving you hanging last week. Talk about SUSPENSE! But this is the week where we wrap things up. I could not be prouder of Staci, for her courage and determination, and for ranking herself, and her family, above any fear, obstacle, or any other person.

Although Staci was well aware of what COULD happen to her based on the research she had done, she was sure that none of those terrible things, lawsuits, cease & desist letters, public bashing and social media betrayals, etc., would happen to her because she had done nothing wrong.

She was literally walking away on good terms to pursue the life she truly wanted.

Then, an email came. A demand that had her in tears. She was asked to delete her social media accounts that she had for years, submit conversations with trusted friends and customers, and to stop all contact with anyone involved in the company no matter who it was. She was threatened with legal action if she didn’t.

She had never seen such harsh words and had a moment of thinking, “Why are they doing this to me?” But Staci is a problem solver and immediately started creating a solution in her head. Although she was extremely emotional, she knew she would get through this as it was just part of the journey.

I was there by her side through it all.

Weeks later, three lawyers later, and thousands upon thousands of her pay being held from her, Staci settled on an agreement with her former company that she felt comfortable with. She absolutely did not agree with all that was being demanded of her, but Staci was ready to move on with her life.

And that, she did.

Fast forward a few years, and Staci is living her best life. She owns her own business having realized direct sales is just not for her. Her family is thriving. She has not even considered going back to teaching and she inspires others every single day!

What is next for her is always to be determined as Staci is, and will always be, open to possibilities!

Well, friends, that's the end of Staci's story that I wanted to share with you. I hope this brought value to you and that you saw CHANGE is possible when you have a support system. I was happy to have been able to be there with her every step of the way. It was a lonely place (for a time) but with her family, her true friends, and me by her side you can see she's now thriving!

Thank you again for joining me on this journey of sharing Staci's story. Again, if this has resonated with you at all do not hesitate to hit REPLY or DM me @carol_hipps.

xo,

Carol
